My name is Anna McDaniels and I grew up in Las Vegas, Nevada. My family relocated to Utah in the fall of 2011. Moving to Utah has proven to be an exciting venture for my family and we love raising our 2 daughters in such a family friendly environment. I love sushi, seafood, chocolate covered fruit, fruit tarts, camping, hiking, yoga and watching my girls dance.

I graduated from the University of Nevada Las Vegas with my Bachelors Degree in Human Services Counseling and a minor in Family Studies. I attended WGU for elementary education and completed my ARL through ABCTE for elementary education and early childhood education.

I taught preschool at Centennial Hills Academy in Las Vegas Nevada and all day Kindergarten at Challenger School in Farmington Utah. I have taught Kindergarten at Ascent Academy in Farmington since we opened in 2014.

I LOVE teaching Kindergarten because this is the year that children decide how they feel about their future in the academic world. This integral year gives young minds the excitement and drive to move forward with confidence throughout their scholastic endeavors.

My favorite children's book is Oh, The Places You'll Go! by Dr. Seuss.
