Hello!

The unique role of the school counselor is to address the role of the whole child.  School counselors advocate for the academic, personal/social and emotional health of the student.

I teach character education, and college and career readiness lessons to the students at Ascent. I also offer individual and small group counseling with a signed consent form.  As a school counselor, I am not trained for long term counseling. Students who need long term counseling will be referred to a competent specialist. The students involved in small group or individual counseling with the school counselor will meet for a half hour each week for 6 to 8 weeks.

I am excited to be at Ascent and look forward to helping our students become the best person they can be!
