I am very excited to come and work with such amazing people. I grew up in southern Idaho. I attended Ricks College (BYU-I) and Utah State University where I graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Social Studies Composite. I have taught in Arizona, Idaho and Utah. I earned my Masters Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Phoenix. I love to learn and have since picked up endorsements in Special Education and Middle School Math. I come from a family of educators and felt the need to teach. I have taught for 13 years. I have also worked in the food service industry for 12 years. 

I have been married for 15 years and have 4 awesome children. I love to watch movies and read adventure books. I also enjoy participating in sports. I love cultures and languages. I am excited to work with the young people at Ascent.
