Hello!  I am so excited to begin another fabulous year at Ascent Academy teaching 4th grade..  This will be my 7th year teaching. I enjoy what I do and feel that this is what I was meant to do.  I love children and all of the fun and laughter that they bring to my life on a daily basis.

I have worked in education for the last 16 years.  I was a substitute teacher in Colorado for many years.  When I moved to Utah. I decided to go ahead and get my Teaching License.  I have enjoyed every minute of having my own classroom. I bring lots of outside knowledge to the Math Classroom.  It is important for students to know that Math is used everyday in "real life". Math is fun and I like to bring that to the classroom. My classroom is a safe and loving environment.  We learn from our mistakes no matter what age we are. School is about making mistakes and learning from them. It is okay to fail!

Outside of school, I am a mom to Casie (34) and Delaney (16), wife to Jon, daughter and sister.  Most of my free time is spent watching my youngest daughter play softball, volleyball and basketball. She keeps my busy and I am enjoying watching her play all of her sports.
